Tread plate boxes

The tread plate box is the most robust packaging type in Maxado’s product range. These boxes are ideal for large, heavy industrial products and for protecting materials during air transport. 

Our tread plate boxes are made from 3-mm-thick aluminium tread plate panels with welded seams, stainless-steel hinges and spring-loaded handles. Gas springs are also available upon request. The rubber seal ensures that our tread plate boxes are dust- and splashproof. The boxes are available in sizes ranging from 622 x 275 x 270 mm (model R37) to 1522 x 525 x 520mm (model R375).

The tread plate box’s interior is fully custom designed for your specific product. As a result, your product is safely stowed in the box and cannot shift during transport. The interior can be produced using a variety of materials and techniques, so your product is optimally protected.
